Aico Ltd, the UK leader in residential Fire and Carbon Monoxide (CO) Alarms, has expanded its training and support services for customers, with two new Mobile Training & Demonstration Units plus an extended Centre of Excellence at its Oswestry premises.
The new mobile training vehicles deliver detailed product and alarm technology information, plus CPD accredited Expert Installer training, right to customers’ doors.
Information boards on Aico technologies, such as RadioLINK+ and AudioLINK, and alarm ranges – with functional product attached – are installed within the units, along with a virtual tour of the company’s manufacturing process. Aico also provides training, product demonstrations and more at its Centre of Excellence, in Oswestry. The Centre has doubled in size to meet demand.
The new extension houses a training facility with a large Conference Room featuring the latest Audio Visual facilities. The Workshop allows hands on training for 20 people. A new wholesaler area, with an imitation trade counter, showcases the latest products and merchandise.
The existing facilities include ‘Ember Place’, which replicates a furnished home with Aico alarms and accessories fitted. There is also a meeting room, breakout areas and a Heritage and Manufacturing Area with a virtual tour of the Ei factory in Ireland.
