A faster, safer, tool-free alternative to connector strips
Ideal Industries launches its new In-Sure lever wire connector range, a versatile tool-free alternative to traditional connector strips for joining solid, stranded or flexible conductors.
Utilising a combination of push-in and lever clamp technology, the design securely retains rigid and flexible conductors whilst allowing them to be easily removed if required.
When inserting rigid wires there is no need to lift the levers because the conductors push straight in, making them easier and faster to install than both connector strips and similar competitor products.
Lifting the levers permits the connection or removal of both flexible and rigid conductors. For added safety, In-Sure lever wire connectors are precision-moulded from transparent polycarbonate that permits visual inspection of the connected wires.
There is also a check port for continuity testing and strip length guide. With their compact design they take up minimal space in back boxes and enclosures making them the obvious alternative to strip connectors.
Ideal In-Sure lever connectors come in 2, 3 and 5-port models. Their 24 A/450 V rating, small size and tool-free application makes them the perfect solution for connecting wires in a range of applications, including lighting and access control. In-Sure lever connectors carry the ENEC mark and are tested to EN 60998 safety standards.
