uPVC Cable Management Company, Marco, the UK manufacturer of Steel Wire Cable Tray, has supplied its Steel Wire Cable Tray products as part of the development of Londonโ€™s ground breaking Walkie-Talkie building. No.20 Fenchurch Street is set to become a major London landmark. A 36-storey tower with a unique faรงade, the scheme will provide over 59,000 sq m of premier office space, with retail outlets at ground level and a stunning public sky garden at the top with a 360-degree panoramic view over the city.

Work is now complete at the site where Canary Wharf Contractor has managed the ambitious construction programme on behalf of a joint venture partnership between Canary Wharf Group and Land Securities.

Simon Kowalski, Key Accounts Manager at Marco commented: โ€œThis is a really complex and impressive scheme that stands apart from Londonโ€™s other skyscraper structures. Whilst the building has a lot of impressive sustainable credentials in terms of maximising energy efficiency, there is still a strong demand for a huge cabling infrastructure.

โ€œMarcoโ€™s Steel Wire Cable Tray is able to meet the technical demands of the scheme whilst providing the right aesthetic finish for this ultra-modern and clean environment.โ€

He added: โ€œWeโ€™re seeing Marco products chosen more and more for major schemes such as this with specifiers recognising the technical, practical and aesthetic benefits of our products.โ€
