Luceco delivers a new energy saving and future-proof solution for Rye Hills Academy’s 3G sports pitch.
The academy, located in Redcar, Teesside, faced the challenge of an ageing floodlighting system with expensive light source replacements for the old technology.
The lighting upgrade was part of a larger refurbishment project, creating a state-of-theart, multi-sports pitch, with £250,000 of support from Redcar and Cleveland Borough Council’s Levelling Up Fund, benefiting both the academy and local community. The pitch is also home to the Redcar Hockey Club who, now the facilities are complete, can return to their home ground.
